Beijing, China: Piggly Wiggly at the Forbidden City

The Forbidden City was built between 1406 and 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. This palace was home to 24 Emperors of the Ming dynasty, the last one was expel in 1924 by republic troops. After the republic revolution in 1911, the last family was allow to stayed in the palace until 1924. To get into the Forbidden City nowadays you do not need to be an emperor or a royal servant. The palace is located in the center of Beijing, China. Just north of Tienanmen square. From Tienanmen Square you must walk through an underpass to cross the street. Then from there, find the big portrait of Mao and walk under it. There the guards will probably yell at you to keep walking and stop taking pictures because of the number of tourist, traffic can get very congested there to get into the palace.
And now for the feature presentation, Piggly Wiggly at the Forbidden City. Notice the entrance with the picture of Mao in the middle.
