Hillary Obama 08 Or Obama Hillary 08?
No matter what happens with the Democratic primary, Hillary and Obama will be on the same ticket come November. As of right now, the Democratic Party is split between the two; there is no clear winner here. This will be the closest primary election that I can think of. Both Clinton and Obama, when they win the primary, it is a must to select the other as running mate for them to have a chance against the Republican for the presidency. You will probably see one of these come November.
Will Hillary be on top?

Or will she be on the bottom?

I disagree. Bill Clinton is the 800 pound ex (or co) President in the room. I think Obama is young enough, he would be wise to avoid getting tainted with the Clintons’ political baggage. He would be a third wheel, which would do nothing to further his Presidential aspirations.
I believe if Hillary gets the nomination, she will go with either Bill Richardson to help her in the southwest with the Latino vote, or possibly Harold Ford Jr to repair the damage that was done in South Carolina among African Americans.
Should Obama prevail, which I’d put the odds at 60/40 at this moment given his cash advantage, the upcoming schedule and his momentum, I can see him going with a female running mate who is not Hillary. Either the Governor of Kansas Kathleen Sebelius or Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill would are possibilities. He could also opt for someone with more foreign policy experience. Senator Jim Webb of Virginia would be an excellent pick.
Given the weakness of the GOP front runner and the splintering of their base, I see either Obama or Hillary getting sworn in on 1/20/09. But I agree, whomever wins the nomination will need to do some serious reaching out to the other to unify the party.

it would actually be Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton.
Not Hilary.

I don’t know if she will be using “Clinton” or “Hillary”. For the primary, her slogan is Hillary, so I am assuming she’ll use that too for the presidential election. I think she wants to differentiate between herself and her husband, she wants to be seem as a strong woman and that is why I think she will use “Hillary” instead of “Clinton”.
I’d like Hilary to win. I know she was preparing for the job since she was young and she already knows more than Obama considering her experience as a first lady.
I’d like to quote something I read, “It took a Clinton to cleanup after the senior Bush, it will also take a Clinton to cleanup after George.”

I’m not happy with the viable candidates that remain on the U.S. political field, but I agree that it’s likely going to be a Hillary/Obama ticket.
I think of Hillary as a substantial candidate but a dishonorable person, Obama as someone who hasn’t earned the seat yet, and McCain as too old and wacky for the job. Everyone else — in my opinion — doesn’t have a prayer. That doesn’t give me much confidence my country will fare better in the next four years than we’ve done for the past eight.
